I've started working on a 1978 F150 that a rat lived in for a time. Most of the hoses were gone. Our local stores have nothing but "vacuum hoses in a couple of sizes." If I just go and buy a good length of hose what diameter and length shouter me moving in the right direction? The truck has a 351m

I've always used regular vacuum hose that I cut to length, on old and new cars/trucks. Vacuum hoses on them are pretty much standardized diameter so you can cut use the hose they sell on their rolls.
