It seems like when I let my 95 sit for a few weeks the rear brakes want to stick and I think its from the self adjusting parking brakes so can I just use everything from a older truck to get rid of it.

 

They may be swelling from moisture. I see that often in my area. Some brakes are more prone to that.
Just a thought. ....
I've had to go to different brands on some vehicles.
Have you fully inspected the brakes?

 

New rear brakes and cables and yes it wants to stick after a rain.
