I can see a lot of old cars being worth $100,000 but a Ranchero?

'Gypo' A/C, wire wheels were not available for any 1950's Ford including Birds. Ranchero's were not available with the Fairlane 500 gold mylar side trim or upper body side mouldings.

In the late 1970's, I owned a '57 Ranchero. It was towed in to the dealer I was working at with a blown rear axle. I paid the tow bill and got the 'pink slip' as the owner didn't have a sou.

A previous owner (not the guy I got it from) swapped in a 289/C4 from a '66 Fairlane. That was OK by me, I was never a Y block fan.

They probably didn't come with 4 wheel drive either...LOL!

The Walmart trucks in the background are fitting.

    I have always wanted a '57 /' 58 / '59 Ranchero.
