What is an ideal running temp for an 7.3 IDI? I’m running at about 190 degrees once It’s warmed up.

That's a question I can't say I've heard. I would say as long as you're running a factory thermostat and it's working properly, you should be good to go.

I have a bosh temp gauge. And it reads 190 (192) on the highway once warm. Just curious among everyone, not even sure how many people on this forum roll around in the ol IDI’s.

that is a good temp. stock t-stat is either 190 or 195. you are safe up to 210 degrees, i have seen 220 on long hill pulls towing 20,000 lbs .
