My first pick-up , a Jeep , had a serious problem of rusting wheel lugs. I live in the 'Rust Belt ' . So after that I always put some thing like never seize on the threads. The threads are now fine with an original coating of goop at 125,000 miles .
So what's the consensus of coating the lugs ??k

a little dab will do fine. everything gets a dab except for the axle flange, that get a good coating to keep the rim from seizing to it.

Don't forget to get it all over yourself while applying it like Tom does
