I've got a '93 7.3 and an '85 6.9, also a '97 ZF5 (460) re drilled to fit. I've got a stock flywheel and clutch for the 6.9, Luk clutch kit/flywheel for the 7.3...my question is, what do I need/will work to get the ZF to function behind my diesel? The consensus is split down the middle as to whether or not the 7.3 flywheel will work on the 6.9, OR whether I need it (some claim the 4 speed stuff will work for the ZF). I doubt this, as the input shaft for the ZF looks significantly larger than my T19

 

Ken, I read the swap. Something to tuck back as I am looking for an early model in good shape and more than likely would want to swap out the transmission for a newer model. I loved the o/d in my 01. It sure beat the 4/s in that sick 302 95 that I had.
