    Interesting, some research... the Crown Vic was one of the few modular based cars which continued to use the 2-valve heads after the 3V came out. My guess is because so many were made for law enforcement and government fleets, they valued reliability over the added horsepower of the 3v.

    You are correct fearless leader. But with a mod here and a tweak there, my old Vic will still eat the ass out of a LEO Charger once I shift it into overdrive. Poor old hummies cannot handle anything over 130 without the valves rattling. Guess it is that ethanol gas. That is why I mix my fuel with additives to neutralize that trash and put the knock reducing octane back in.
