Made use of the rotisserie to sand blast the frame.

Then was able to get it painted and assembled. This pic also shows the backyard engineering to mount the rad in the proper spot.:)

Better look at the complete frame, rear axle was later changed for a narrower 10 bolt diff.

Fuel tank was installed. This is anew tank for a 73 Chev Blazer, it's a 21 gallon tank and I modified the sending unit to work for the fuel injection I planned on using. The filler neck was also located to the upper side so it would exit through the frame.

The motor and transmission was installed but was only temporary as later I purchased a new crate motor and had this transmission rebuild for insurance of not running into problems later on the road.

It was then time to reunite frame with body, prepared to roll it under the body.

Can't find pictures of the whole procedure but I used the engine hoist at the rear of the panel, jacked it up higher on the jack stands on front. Removed the rolled stand the body was sitting on and with the rear tires/rims removed and placed on the skates I rolled it into position and lowered it on the frame.

I'm kind o at a stand still with the pickup right now until I get the frame sand blasted which should take place tomorrow, we were getting rain off and on today and I like to recycle my sand so it needs to stay dry.

After I had the body married to the frame I started working on the interior panels, I took the head liner from a Ford club van and split it down the middle then cut the overlap and fiberglassed the two pieces together, the area over the cab was from a chev extended cab which was thinner and easier to form over the windshield.
