For the rear section of the head liner I made a drop down section to house some speakers and formed cones out of heavy craft paper and fiberglassed over it, this was also done to hide the pinto hinges I used for the rear door. Side panels were cut out of 3/16" mahogany plywood.

Door panels were made of the same plywood and the arm rests were made to house the door pulls from a 2000-2005 chev impala.

Fitting the front fenders posed an obvious problem I have over looked. After lowering the suspension I hadn't thought much about track width, it was time for some much needed research. I needed to narrow the track width about 2 inches either side.

I first bought a pair of modular spindles from CPP that brought the tracking in by 1 -1/8" each side, still not enough but heading in the right direction. I then started to look at the control arms and figured they could possibly be narrowed and found with some research that Porterbuilt makes narrowed tubular control arms so bought a set narrowed by 1 inch and success was made:)

Mine was a 440 six pack with a slap stick in a 65 Plymouth Valliant
Wish I still had that car!

I like the wood treatment you're giving it. Will make it classy in my opinion.

I had upgraded the tired old engine I used for mock-up with a new crate 5.7 liter L91, added a Holley Stealth Ram MPFI intake and Vintage Air front runner, Sanderson headers. I know:) not a favourite of the Ford lovers but using the chev frame it fit better.

Loaded it up on a trailer to take it to the glass shop to have the back window and windshield installed and the exhaust system installed.
