It's always nice to see a truck work!

It sure would be one heck of a BBQ!

And, she IS in Texas so the People Trailer is probably over rated!
Saddle Blankets and open skies..."the stars at night are big and bright...!" to sleep under.

A classic truck like that ought to have a restored 1964 airstream behind it. But a Fleetwood or an ALFA also works

I wonder if a single roof air was enough in the record heat we've been getting in the south

*I know, I know - GO SPEND MY OWN MONEY!!!

I have to agree, its not only more complimentary but its also a lot more fun. I am presently living in that trailer at the top right now enjoying some cool weather here in Colorado. I will be heading back home soon.

I forgot to say, I didn't pull the travel trailer up here with the big Slick. I used my traditional F-250 Super Duty for the job. Its easier to go to the grocery store in than the big truck.

One of the things I miss about my lifted '82 F100 was being able to see twenny cars ahead, and drive off the pavement to get around traffic jams - but the best it ever got was eleven miles a gallon, and I never DID get the fuel gauge to read so I always had five gallons of gas in a jerry can in the bed.

Now THAT truck was wikkid fun to drive across country...

At 75MPH the Super Swampers on it hummed like a C5A and I never had to look at the speedo to know how fast I was going - you could hear their "SONG"

These days I play with Festiva's - and the song is different. They dance, and tell me all about the road beneath me.

Some people only go from point 'A' to point 'B'
But I'm a born driver - so it's different for me.

    It isn't where I go
    But how I get there

There is a music that you can only hear and feel
On an Interstate Highway on a long trip...

It's the Song of the Road

    It sings to me sweetly
    ~and it invites me back
    Again and again

    Like the Sirens
    Of the ancient Greek tales
