    Gas turns into a gel like crap over time.
    You should pull the fuel tank and clean it

    Pulling the fuel tank from out of the trunk in that car sucks, and is next to impossible, but will save you a whole bunch of headaches later, the fresh gas will melt the "junk" into lumps, and stop up all the fuel lines, and the gas distributer.
