My mistake. Looks like it's a body book for a 92 F-150-250-350, superduty, bronco, and van, and motor home
Maybe these will help tho. Did not use the van, cargo, or motor home, but if you need them, let me know. there is a lot of info in the book, if you need anything else
I also have the emissions book, which I didn't know that I had

Looks like (google-fu is working) in 1998 the cab was changed (Larger) and then in 1998.5 the 4 door option.
    So that fits 1999

Those back doors were the best thing that happened to the Ranger (besides the 4.0 SOHC)............now, if they had just let it have the full 7ft bed to go with them.

...and I'm concerned that the bed, thus wheelbase is too long:greyalien:

    I'm used to a F-250 w X-cab and 8ft bed, a X-cab Ranger w 7ft bed would be just fine to me.
The single cab Ranger w 7ft bed is a real work-horse, the x-cab w 6ft bed is kinda limited.

    Along this line:
The Cab dimensions supposedly changed in 1998, becoming larger & the next model year the 4-door was introduced.
The question I have is, where and how much, did the cab change in size?
For example my research says that the 1999-Cab outside width is 69.4 and a quick measurement of my 1994 is 67.75 thus it looks like the 99-up are about 1.65" (or 1 5/8") wider. Not a lot of change, but it does complicate the execution of a graft of the rear Cab doors on to the earlier Cab, that I have been contemplating...

Along with that, did the frame and axle width get wider as well, or stay the same?

I had everything needed to put a 5.0 in my Ranger. I had a Mercury 5.0 transmission and rearend. The rearend was the right width just needed spring hangers added. If I liked the truck it would be a V8 Ranger. I like a full size truck. My truck gets 3 mpg more than the Ranger.plus it rides much better.
