    Didn't realize that these were collectable items. I gave 2 of them away a couple years ago along with one of the Colman heaters.

    Yeah, I just have an old Colman for camping, along with a couple of battery operated lanterns for power outages. Never gave them much thought.

    The Coleman 275 has a very similar fount (pot) as the Sears, but one less ridge on top and the bung for the valve on a 275 is much bigger. a 3/8 to 1/4 bushing (and 2 taps) will get you back in business.

    Got a "new" lantern Sunday, something I have never seen.
    I will have to take a picture and post it so you can tell me what it is Sean
    Might take a bit, still in a sling and cast, only able to use 1 arm

    Got my first kerosene burner Coleman yesterday!
    I cleaned it up, and put a glass ut of a gas lantern in it, I will have to get the proper glass for it.
    'lucky to get the alcohol can with it too
    turned out nice.

    What kind of alcohol should I use in the cup?
    and what is the procedure for lighting it?

    Apparently, the previous owner didn't know, the gas valve handle is melted.....:jawdrop:
