Just got together the past weekend with a bunch of Coleman forum/ VW forum folks. We had 102 lanterns lit Sat night. I'm trying to get the F350 owner to join us.

Those Mil-Spec's are a lot of fun! Normally I see those as single mantle, but yours has 2 mantles.

I also like the Sears Avocado 72241; needs a 5107 globe though! What month in 1972?

Got the normal Colmans, just putting them on a shelf for now. Bought a new 2 me 20' shipntainer, so I have plenty of room for my addiction now!

The Higgy and Monkey Wards are keepers too. The white frosted globe goes to a Sears Avocado 220-type lantern. Higgies should say heat resisting on the globe (for anal collectors) }>.

    I have several of each.
Funny thing about where a lens can show up.
I have found them at candle shops, etc

Yup. I have several, although that is my first 8,000.
Those old girls are hard on fuel.......

Lol, I've not run them much; normally the wick's in 'em are hard as stone. I guess they can be replaced or soaked in cleaner (Acetone?).

Got a heat drum for the 500 stove all spiffed up. IMG_3732.JPG #ad

Coleman propane 2 lantern for a big bottle.
    Got 2 for $5
One has a screen for a globe, the other has nothing. I'll use glass when I restore them

Very handy poles on those Charlie. Keeps the kids outta reach, but use a base stabilizer for the bottles. I like those screens for windless camping and overall durability.

My latest project. Won't fit in the oven.

    I collect all that Charlie......
My lantern collection is into the hundereds now.....
NTM stoves, heaters, and then there is the propane collection of coleman.

It all started out when I needed a lanteren for the flea market in 2011.
I bought a box of them to make 1 good one.
Just like a drug, eh Sean?
