Now, KW could you PLEASE paste the below in my first reply and delete all the chatting you find unnecessary?
Took me big chunk of Sunday afternoon to make it accurate (hope it is)
    Thanks

I hesitate to do it for long years as it might not get good response, but now might be a good time before I start forgetting.
First vehicle when I was 16 back in Poland in 1970 was
1965 WSK motorcycle with whooping 6 HP, making 80 khp downhill
    1977 Fiat 126p (2-banger 21 HP)
    1979 Fiat 125p
    1980 Skoda
1981 VW Scirocco 1.6I (that one hit 240 kph peg driven on autobahn)
Now in US what include cars I bought for drivers in my family
    1980 Toyota Corona
    1981 Oldsmobile wagon 350 diesel
    1982 Oldsmobile wagon 454
1980Peugeot 504 diesel times 2 (actually 3 as I bought one with engine apart and got another crushed, but with good engine)
    1982 Toyota Dolphin motorhome 20'
1984 Volvo DL (served us for 14 years)
    1984 Porsche 924 w 2l
    1984 VW Scirocco 1.6l
1976 Peace Arrow motorhome 27' (that one blow Toro-flow engine in Ottawa and was quickly replaced by)
    1984 Bounder motorhome 32' w 454
    1978 VW pickup 1.8l
    1981 Chevy El Camino w 5l
    1981 VW pickup 1.6d
    1984 Barth motorhome wb 32' w CAT 9824
1989 Country Coach motorhome 40' (that one I bought for quick resale, but we put like 5000 miles anyway) w CAT
    1976 GMC 350 flatbed with 454
1998 Mercedes ML320 (the only new I bought in US)
    1981 Mercedes 300tdt times 2 (bought 2nd for resale)
    1998 BMW 750 iL
    1990 Mercedes 300dt 2.3
    2003 VW Jetta 1.6 tdi
    2005 Mercedes E320cdi
    1999 Ford F450 SD 7.3
    1999 Mercedes E320 wagon 4M
    1997 Mercedes E300d
    1998 Mercedes E300dt
    1972 Prevost bus conversion 40' w 8V71 Detroit
    2001 Audi A4 w 2.3l
1998 Mercedes E300dt (2nd of the same MY)
    2001 Ford F250 SD 7.3l
    2007 Ford F350 SD 6l
    2004 Mercedes E320 wagon 4M
Not all the model years might be accurate, but that is the best I can do.
I have gift for machinery and for years was buying vehicles just to explore them. I buy "TLC" drive them, fix them and 80% of them resold for profit after +- 2 years of driving.

    Historical list:

1981 F150 Custom 4x4: 302/C6 farm bed (modified flat bed)

1973 Mercury Cougar XR7: 351C/FMX. Rebuilt it myself to fix an overheating problem. After swapping all external cooling components, I found the water jackets blocked.

1980 Bronco: 302/C6/BW1356. Hunk of junk, it was a poor mans junkyard rescue

1946 Chevy truck: told a neighbor I could get it out of their yard, but never could

1999 Mercury Cougar: 2.5L V6/ 5 speed. Mistake to ditch that car

2005 HD Sportster base: totaled on a back road in AZ

2007 HD Sportster Custom: the bike that got the wife

2004 Mazda 3: 2.0/5 speed, zoom-zoom car. Fun, but too small for the family

1999 Explorer Eddie Bauer: Dad bought it for us. Nothing but problems

1986.5 Toyota Supra: NA 3.0/5speed. My Japanese muscle car. 67K on the clock when bought. Wife said it had to go

2004 Nissan Xterra: see previous comment

2011 Dodge Journey: 3.0/6 speed auto. Never again. Too many issues.

    2010 Explorer XLT: Wife's

1981 F250 Ranger Lariat: the Beast, and a continuous work in progress

OK, I am not going to list them all but, I did a quick vehicle purchase review which includes kids wives and er, um ex-wife.

A lifetime total of 51 vehicles. All to be driven. Including the transmission Am which I original picked up as a FLIP potential but, er, um, that may not happen. (Shhh...don't tell the Queen I said that. :nailbiting:)

Plus, 3 motorcycles, 3 boats, 3 slightly modified golf carts (and I don't even golf), two Wave Runners and a Polaris Ranger side by side.

I really like the Connect, big and small. In '76 I bought a new E-150 with no seating 'cept for the driver. Over the first year I completely customized the interior with er, um...shag carpet :rock:anim, (4) Captain's Chairs, insulated walls behind paneling and hand built "U" shaped bench seats. Each bench top had a hinged secondary top that would flip out in a way that made a double'ish size bed. The seat cushions (bottom and back) were made out of 4" thick foam and were designed to lay out flat, like a puzzle, to make the bed. It was pretty damned cool. Fender flares and front spoiler. Wide oval tires on white spoke wheels. A stunner she was.

Every time I see a nice Connect, or some of the other new vans, I recall those days and wish these new units would be a jump start for that era to retro. The $ 65,000.00+ robot jobs just don't cut it for me.

We did something very similar to that with my step-dad's Dodge Tradesman 100. The van came with the driver's seat. We swapped in swivel Captain's chairs and added everything else behind that, including the bed with storage compartments, insulation behind the panels, roof vents, and side-windows at the back on each side, and yes, shag carpet, too. :rock:anim I think shag carpeting and customized vans was mandatory in CA in the '70s.

Add a 2006 Explorer to my list. We bought a mint condition, 60k mile Explorer for Peggy this weekend to replace her Freestar. Our daughter wants to buy the Freestar.

Yeah, not to mention two way radio communication devices...I ran twin antennas on mine.

Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end......

I have a 2000 Dodge 3500 maxivan hand control wheelchair van, and a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan 14 inch lowered floor, zero effort steering, stand by auxiliary steering system, zero effort hand control, drive from wheelchair mini-van. That is it for me, had to sell my Mack Camper truck, Jeep TJ and a few other things I could not use anymore, like motorbikes, sports cars, specialist equipment, tractors, etc etc.
