Scratch built steel 3x6" .120 wall box frame, independent front suspension with coil springs, triangulated 4 link with coil springs and air assist shocks, holding an 8.8 rear with 3.27 gears, alu driveshaft, duel flow master exhaust with crossovers, disk brakes all the way around, line locks up front, 20x10" rear rims and 18x9" front with some rubber! It'll do about 140 and get 14 mpg. It's a fair compromise for something as aerodynamic as a refrigerator that I can use as a daily driver.

I really don't understand why the Lightning wasn't offered in Flareside form..............

 

Probably because the bed is fiberglass
it is so light, the 93 with the built 5.0, starts spinning and never stops all the way through OD
I actually ended up putting some sand bags in it, after I put a hard topper on it.
