    I agree with John
I do miss my grandfather's car, I wish I had made a stipulation that if the guy were going to sell it, he contact me first
He later cut the car loose, and it got rodded

That's a different scenario tho, that was a restored car that needed nothing but a garage to sleep in

If you decide to get a wiring harness to get it running, if that's what it needs, DO NOT throw the old harness away!

It's the original,, and anyone who is restoring the car will want to repair it, NOT replace it.

I spent 5 min. trouble shooting . I came to no power to the coil . Jumpered power to it and it runs .
Heck , it could be just a fuse ! I went no further . Last time I drove it , I pulled in the drive and it
shut down . I pushed her to where she sits .

There's always E-Bay. It might draw more than you think in an auction format, and you can still set your minimum acceptable price.

IF you do that - it would be worth it to pull it out onto solid ground, do some minor pretty-up, and shoot a complete set of pictures from all angles.

The interest in my old car has lit a fire under my arse .
If this falls through , I shall get it up and running again .
My kids are wanting to ride in her again , got me thinking ......

Get it indoors if you can - the surface rust needs to go away before it becomes more than surface rust...

If you can get a solid coat of clean paint on it (even if you have to trailer it to a body shop) that alone will preserve everything else -

And once you see it looking clean and pretty, you won't be able to leave it alone!

Not to mention the value of the car will go through the roof, that's a given.

    Think about "HOUSE of KOLOR"
They used to be based out of Jackson Mississippi (dunno if that's true anymore)
    Check out their homepage:

One way to go is to get your paint there, and have someone else shoot it.

Take a look at their "KOLOR" chart here:

I guess that is good and bad, good that you got what you decided was fair but bad and sad you had to say good bye. Hope you get to see it when it's back up and running..

The new owner only lives ten miles away. Turned out I know his son. I use to sell parts to him twenty plus years ago when I worked for a parts house.

I always hate to see my babies go.
I ALWAYS have sellers remorse the next week

Glad you could let it go, you probably would have never finished it, too much time with it. On to the next project!

Thanks for the kick in the tail, I think I'll start back up on my spyder this spring!
