Howdy Charlie, haven't seen hide or hair of you in a long time, glad to see you're still with the living. Truck looks good. I have another project I'm slowly working on too..
1956 Mercury M350 ,breaking it down at the moment to repaint sections of the frame I did work to then have to strip the mill scale off the box I built for it. Using the 5.8/ ZF47 5 speed and DRW rear axle..

Is that a 96 Charlie..? I have two 5.8's torn down right now, one was a rebuild from before with lots of idle time and high mileage, the other is a I don't know how much mileage but looks like just putting new bearings and rings to freshen it up kind of thing..

    94 John. It was a 5.0 HO.
When I rebuilt it a couple years back I used a 5.8 crank, bigger roller cam, gt40 heads, intake and plenum with throttlebody.
Still has stock style emissions system to pass the 94-96 Era.
    Has 1.7 roller rockers.
I guess it would be otherwise known as a stroker.
The computer system I converted from map to maf.
She runs pretty good, altho even with cats on it, it's loud.

I'm just looking at refreshing this engine buy new rings and bearings, timing chain , dampener and water pump and giving it a real good clean and a paint job. I doubt I'll be doing a lot of driving in this truck. Not sure why I talked myself in doing another one anyways...lol
