At 3 or 4 I was driving a Ford sitting on grand dads knee.......

 

I was 9 when I first drove my uncle's Ford Jeep

 

Well,lets see.The first Ford that I drove was my Fathers 1929 Ford rumble seat coupe.I was sixteen.My sister and I were in the cab,and Mom and Dad were in the rumble seat.Drove all over town and had a ball.Told Dad that if he decided to sell it,I wanted first refusal.Sold it the next day without so much as a by your leave.CRAP!!!!!!

Me pappy always drove Ford. 55 Crown Vic, 71 LTD, 77LTD, 82 Crown Vic,91, Crown Vic. 05 F150,still drives it at 84yrs old. Unfortunately mom drives a Kia. Drives nice ,gets good gas mileage and easier to get around in than the 91 Vic.
Me? Learned to drive on a 77 Ford fiesta 2dr. Along with 2 brothers. Yup had a very easy life that car! Went thru shnitz and back a few times. Finally got too rusted to drive no floor boards fenders hatch wouldn't stay shut. Still had good motor at 160000kms.
My first truck I bought,84 got a sr5 extracab 4banger. Had it for 9yrs. Got way too rusty. Tuff,reliable little truck. After the frame got pulled apart towing 7000lbs once too often, bought a 93 f250. 5.8 slushbox transmission. Regular cab. 10 yrs of trouble free driving.
Decided I had too have a shiny new 03 V10. Still have it. Needs a little rust removal tho.
Had a 73Mach1 for a few yrs .Cleveland 4speed. 88 turbo coupe Tbird. Liked it, sold it to buy the stang.
Yup ,I think I'm stuck on Ford.
Dodge never could make a truck and Chebby just a car with a big trunk.

These are not in the order that I purchased them. Most were purchased / leased new. Over a 20 Year span, I was driving 30,000 - 50,000 miles / year just to get to work.

first ford was in 1962 when dad's bother gave me his 1950 2 door crest liner, we pulled the 8ba dropped in a merc 4 inch throw rotating assembly , year latter i wrecked it picked up a 1953 vicky with out a motor for 35 bucks dropped in the hotrod flat head from the 50, next ford was a 1963 1/2 gal 500 light weight 427 425 hp, wreaked that also. body shop that towed it stole the motor and transmission before the insurance company got to the place, most have had 20 fords between 1962 and 2017 some i wish i still had .
